Introduction	Two really huge things happened recently in my life: (1) I adopted a Pitt Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier mix (named Pepper) from our local animal shelter and (2) I signed up for my second half marathon. These two events coincided for a reason - I am using the half marathon as a way to bond with my new rescue pup. This blog is going to chronicle my journey in raising my first rescue dog as well as my journey to my second marathon.
