Introduction	I am a newly retired English teacher. This is the first fall for many years that I have not stood at the front of a classroom. I began teaching seventh grade English and have taught all levels from 7-12 grades, advanced placement, and both freshman composition classes at local community colleges. During my years I have been the supervising teacher for many students as they worked their way through education departments trying to fulfill steps toward a teaching certificate.
