Introduction	Just 15 minutes before college graduation I was forgiven $105,000 of student debt. As the shock subsided, and reality sank in, I was faced with what had always been true; my life is not my own. Now financially free I have found myself in an eternal debt to love. This new-found debt has led me to live in the slums of Sonagacchi, Kolkata's largest and most infamous red-light district. These are the stories collected and my ponderings about my life, as it entangles with those on the margins. And this is my attempt to invite you into these stories.
