| Introduction | I was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit...married and raised our three daughters about five miles from where I grew up. I started a flower shop in 1973 in downtown Royal Oak, moved it to Birmingham (another Detroit suburb) in 1985 and sold it in 2007 to pick up the writing career I started in college. I still put together flower arrangements for the parties and weddings of friends and family. I guess it's in my blood! My daughters have taught me more than any amount of formal education ever could and my dogs have taught me how to be a better human. I am at the happiest time of my life. I love my family, my garden, my dogs and writing. |
