Introduction	Yung Chul Park is distinguished professor in the division of international studies, Korea University. He previously served as the chief economic adviser to the President of Korea, as president of the Korea Development Institute, and as president of the Korea Institute of Finance. He also worked for the International Monetary Fund. He has written and edited several books including Monetary and Financial Cooperation in East Asia: The Relavance of European Experience (Oxford University Press, 2010).
