| Introduction | Hi. I am a first grade teacher and an avid card maker. I love to be creative in both ways. I have been teaching for 25 years. I have been a first grade teacher, second grade teacher, third grade teacher and reading specialist. I have loved all of these jobs. I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a master's degree in early childhood education. I am certified in Reading Recovery instruction and have National Board certification. I like to teach my students to make cards for special occassions, like I do. It is a fun hobby and a special way to communicate. I even sell my cards at school. I am a volunteer at the Frazee Dream Center and am thankful for the help and support they provide to our students. I hope to use this blog to keep parents involved in their child's school life, to motivate students and increase their knowledge of technology, and to interact with our blog audience. |
