IntroductionIt's my goal to break the sterotype of what librarians are. We're not all crabby old hags with high collard, frilly-laced shirts. Librarians are smart, creative, witty, and we have a passion for expanding the knowledge of our minds as well as the minds of others. And some of us have a keen fashion sense, too!
InterestsFilms, music, books, TV, owls, cats, dark chocolate, writing, helicopters, 1970s fashions, Nintendo DS, basketball and hockey, ethinic food, travel, haunted places, and cops.
Favorite moviesAngels With Dirty Faces, White Heat, House on Haunted Hill (the original, not that silly remake), Just about every Alfred Hitchcock film, Little Miss Sunshine, Kiss Me Deadly, Asian Horror films, zombie flicks, Pillow Talk, My Cousin Vinny, Wayne's World, Wedding Crashers, Blazing Saddles, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, okay, I gotta stop or this list will just go on and on.
Favorite musicHip/Hop & Rap, R&B, Alternative, Classic Rock, Jazz and Blues. I like Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Count Basie, The Doors, The Who, Macy Gray, Koko Taylor, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Missy Elliot, Sean Paul, Ramones, AC/DC, Styx, Jim Croce, Raconteurs, the Wedding Crashers Soundtrack has a nice mix of Alternative Rock. Okay, that's enough :)
Favorite booksThe Series of Unfortunate Events, The Loch, Eldest and Eragon, The Dresden Files, Charles Dickens and Jane Austen, Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code, The Historian, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King, World War Z, The Thirteenth Tale and many more!

The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:

There once was a bald frog and he had a curly blond wig. At night he'd put on the wig and sparkly blue dancing shoes and he'd go to the club and pick up girly frogs and party all night long. The end.
