Introduction	Mighty oaks from little acorns grow. This blog is associated with the print version of the St. Nicholas League Newspaper (begun in May 2011), which is a tribute and rekindling of the the St. Nicholas League of 1899-the1940s. Thanks to Mr. E.B. White, in his printed book of essays, for the lead backwards, to a time when kids like himself were given chances like these. Starting off small with a circulation of about 20, we hope to grow a forest of oaks with the St. Nicholas League again. We could use another round of E.B. Whites, Edna St. Vincent Millays, and F. Scott Fitzgeralds.
