| Introduction | I'm a historical costumer (and I design modern clothes too). I was taught to sew by my Nana, before I could read (which means sometime around the age of 3 - more than 30 years ago now - yikes!). She wanted to distract me from sticking my fingers into the electrical sockets to see what would happen. Now I divide my time between making clothing for museums and tv, and for re-enactors, as well as more modern clothes for weddings and proms (and occasionally even for myself). |
| Interests | Costume, clothing, fashion, art deco, art nouveau. |
| Favorite movies | It varies with my mood but generally anything old. Enduring favourites are Gone With the Wind, The Shop Around the Corner, for Me and My Gal, and anything with Fred Astaire. |
| Favorite books | Far too many to mention them all, but I like Agatha Christie, Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and the Narnia books. And LM Mongomery. And Sherlock Holmes. |
You forgot your mom's birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?
