| Introduction | After High School I left my dear state of California for Mississippi. There I joined a team of other Americorps members to work with habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our mision was to help familes that had suffered a loss by Hurricane Katrina. We were Assistant supervisers and were in charge of probably hundreds of volunteers. It was truely a blessing to be down there and meet so many people who had a passion about helping those in need. That experiance changed my life. Now-a-days I have moved back to California. I live in a house with my brothers and our housemate Mike. Couldn' ask for a better team of guys, they make coming home an experiance everyday. Along with that i work part time and go to college. Not the most glamorous events each day, but I kep the excitement up by being an adviser for 6th graders at my church. Those guys are as much of a blessing for me, as they think I am to them. |
