| Introduction | Hi, I’m Ellen. There are many things that inspire me to create and I love the challenge of learning something new. As a designer, I love the unexpected and find patterns too structured. But my love of heirlooms and antiquities keep me traditional. | Interests | Beading, Quilting, Knitting, Scrapbooking, Dollmaking-- you name it! Just as long as it keeps me busy. I also enjoy Bonfires, Vegetable gardening, Perusing antique shops, gift shops, fleamarkets and yard sales. Looking at model homes although I dont do this too often. I love all things old and treasure heirlooms. |
| Favorite movies | I really like period pieces especially when they have full on regalia costumes. They are terrific for inspiration. Otherwise I enjoy movies that have good cinematography showing location shots and architecture of a country or region. |
| Favorite music | I listen to all genre of music depending on my mood and on what I'm doing. My "whitenoise" music is typically classical jazz or lounge but when I clean it's got to be the latest pop hits-- and I have to play it LOUD! In my car I usually have on a good salsa playing but when I want to sing (all windows closed) I put on a good country tune! |
| Favorite books | I enjoy a good mystery and try to keep up with the recent bestsellers. However. I really love books by Jean Auel,Ayn Rand, and Tolkien. One of my most favorite authors is Paulo Coelho (in English)and of course, Dr. Seuss! ;oP My all time favorite book is The Lorax. |
