| Introduction | Darcie Hossack is a graduate of the Humber School for Writers. The columns that accompany these recipes appeared in eVent magazine from 2003 through 2008, and now appear in the "Bliss" secion of the Kelowna Daily Courier (Thursdays) and Kamloops This Week (Fridays). To read fiction by Darcie Friesen Hossack, look for "Ashes," published in "Half in the Sun: anthology of Mennonite writing," edited by Elsie K. Neufeld, published by Ronsdale Press. Other publications include "Loft," printed by Rhubarb magazine in January '08, "Little Lamb," printed by Prairie Journal in November '08 and nominated for the McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize. Darcie's first collection of short fiction, Mennonites Don't Dance, is scheduled to be published by Thistledown Press in September 2010. |
