| Introduction | My name is Jody. I am a wife, mother, grandmother who loves family, friends, food, and fabrics! And SO much more - but we'll start with that. As a mostly self-taught seamstress, sewing has been my creative outlet since elementary school. When it comes to fabrics, I am an avid matchmaker! Colors, patterns, swatches... Leaving a fabric/craft store brings a sigh and a thought, "So many fabrics, so little time!" My business/blog name comes from a nickname a dear friend gave me when we were kids. Jody became "Jode" with the accompanying, "a la mode". Here's to you, Janell, and food, friends, family, and FUN! |
