| Introduction | I am a wife, mother to four sons, daughter, sister and friend. I enjoy (well mostly) the changeable Michigan weather. I started scrapbooking in 1982 and then on to cards in 2011. I am continuing my life's journey after retiring from working in the State's Environmental Laboratory. I continue to analyze everything before attempting my projects. I loved making cards for Operation Write Home in support of our troops but since this organization completed its mission, I am now making cards for different charities. I also follow many paper-craft blogs to continue to learn and improve. Where did the title of my blog come from? I've always loved my mother's maiden name, Nightengale (yes with an en in the middle) so I wanted to use it in my title. My grandparents came from Belgium to Eilis Is. On arrival their sir name was changed from Nachengale to Nightengale. There you have it a little history about this gal, I call me. |
