| Introduction | INCOME TAX EMPLOYEES FEDERATION, MUMBAI CIRCLE- A unifying force of the employees of income tax department for advancement through struggles- The Income Tax Employees Federation, Mumbai Circle was earlier known as the Bombay Income Tax Employees Union (BITU) which was an affiliate of the Income Tax Employees Federation. After the introduction of the New Recognition Rules by the Govt. in 1993 a composite organization came in to existence known as the Income Tax Employees Federation with regional Circles. As per the verification of membership on the basis of the new Recognition rule, all the non-gazetted employees are members of the Federation in Mumbai. Our achievements had been the product of the endeavour, unitedly made by its members. We have suffered immensely as and when the unity was disrupted. In the face of the new challenges, let us cement the unity we have assiduously strived to bring about and march ahead with determination. 0O0 |
