Introduction	I'm a psychologist and scholar by vocation, a fiber artist by avocation, and the matriarch of a happy family through equal parts sheer effort of will, hard work, and pure dumb luck. I'm a survivor of many things, which has made me a philosopher of sorts, alternately jaded and grateful, and agreeable and fractious by turns. I struggle with obnoxious people, Fibromyalgia and autoimmune disease, spoiled cats, and unruly yarn; and I rejoice in faith, family members (well, some of them), friends,and pastimes.
