| Introduction | Well, I've never really done this before so I don't really know the score. That rhymes. It was an accident, but I guess it reveals the reason I'm even doing this. I'm a writer, I'm studying English Literature and Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University. The problem is, I'm having a bit of writer's block right now. I've got so many stories which I've started and given up on. Maybe I need to finish those off before starting something new - it would explain my writer's block. Something else which may be accountable is the fact that I get heavily criticised for only writing macabre, morbid, or generally depressing stories. I mostly write short stories, though a bit of poetry here and there isn't unheardof. I do write, I have to write every week for creative writing seminars. But I don't like writing stuff I have to write, I like writing stuff I want to write. I don't intend to ever look at anything I've written for class ever again. Anyways, that's enough of that. I'll post a few of my old favourites for you to look at. Simon |
