| Introduction | I was diagnosed with Hereditary Angioedema when I was 22. I spent many years trying to stay healthy without medication. I finally gave in and began taking Oxandrin when I was 30 as I was having between 2-3 attacks per month. When I began taking the Oxandrin, many of the symptoms I was having did not go away. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 32. Determined to not take medication for Fibromyalgia, I began researching and trying to find out everything I could about Fibromyalgia. I believe the path I have chosen has led me to a place of health. It has been long and difficult, but I couldn't be happier in the progress that I have made in my life, physically, spiritually, and mentally. I am writing this blog to share my journey with others who are feeling alone in this battle. Recently, I have began taking Cinryze. It is C1-INH replacement to treat Hereditary Angioedema. |
