Introduction	Hello! We are an Interior Alaska family with deep Southern roots that cannot be overlooked, despite living in the Far North for over 15 years. I'm Lisa and my husband, John, and I have 4 children. Justin is 23 years old, John-John is 15, Jessica 8, and Jack is 5. Over the years, I have found that homeschooling is a wonderful way for our kids to learn. I'm a huge fan of FIVE IN A ROW and also incorporate Waldorf teaching and living as well as some Thomas Jefferson Education (Leadership Education) principles into our days. I take what I like and what works from these and use them to bring not just an educational moment to the kids, but a learning lifestlye. I'm drawn to the term unschooling and find using our life and everyday experiences is the best way our children learn. We are a Bible believing Christian family, saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus, and this, above all, is our foundation!
