Introduction	I became a first grade teacher at Collins Elementary when the doors opened in 2005. Last school year I took a leave of absence and had the pleasure of working part-time for the school district in the Homebound/Hospital program. Prior to that, I taught Gifted 1st thru 5th graders for 2 years at Apollo Beach & Corr. I have also taught third grade as well as Language Impaired 2nd & 3rd graders. I attended USF where I earned my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. On my teaching certificate, I am certified for Elem. Ed, grades 1-6, ESOL, AGP (gifted), and K-12 ESE. I have 3 children, 2 of which are students here at Collins. Bobby is in 4th grade and Riley is in 1st grade. My daughter, Reagan, will be 3 in January.
Interests	Reading and spending time with my family.
Favorite movies	Mostly comedies. Of course, I see LOTS of children's movies.
Favorite music	Anything except country.
Favorite books	James Patterson is my favorite author, for now. I'm always looking for a great book to read!!!
