| Introduction | I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. About 10 years ago I came to the U.S., more precisely to Lawrence, Kansas, to study journalism at the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!). I finished school, worked for a while and decided to go back to school for my masters. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up, but until then, I am enjoying the journey. :) |

| Favorite movies | I have to admit that I love chick flicks like ... Pretty Woman and Sex and The City. But I have recently watched a series on HBO that blew me away. Probably the best series I've ever seen. The Wire. It was excellent! |
| Favorite books | Hummm... of the books I read recently, I absolutely loved "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. |
