Introduction	My wife and I purchased our 1969 GTO convertible new, in August 1969, and never dreamed we would still be driving it more than 40 years later! We also never dreamed we would be attending 'car cruises' starting in 1980. Obviously, 'Classic Car' cruises had to wait until there were classic cars which had 'aged' enough to evoke memories of the 'crusing' experience that began in the 1950s. Those were the days when gasoline was relatively inexpensive and it didn't matter that your car got only 10 mpg! By attending the many Classic Car cruises that are held in Western PA every summer, we 'stay young' because we get to see all the cars from our youth and hear the great music of the '50s and '60s. This blog will be a record for us of our memories of all the adventures we've enjoyed over the years whle driving this car, and will feature photos and highlights of the various cruises we have attended in the past and will attend in the future.
