| Introduction | I teach in Wharton ISD. I have taught in the district for 23 years. Currently I am the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for the Elementary Grades. In addition to that, I teach the first through fifth grade gifted pull-out classes. Currently I am taking courses at University of Houston to earn my Masters and then Doctorate degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in the area of Gifted Education. I am also working on a Masters Degree through Lamar University in Instructional Leadership. I am married and my husband is the Payroll and Benefits Director at Wharton County Junior College. I have one son who graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. |
