| Introduction | I was going to call this "Post Mortem", as I intend to document what the Washington Post journalists and pundits cover and refuse to touch when they do their daily online chats. I started thinking about "broken window theory" and how it applies to the "Village" of D.C. (thanks Digby). Basically I think that all the sleazy and dishonorable behavior in that town that never gets cleaned up (torture and the "revolving door" of legislating and lobbying are but two current examples) encourages more and more unaccountable sleaze and dishonesty. The Washington Post chats are one small window into the Village. Is it broken or not? I decided I would document the questions I asked at the Washington Post website for posterity. I might do some analysis of why I asked what I asked if I am not too lazy as well. I'm sure that this page is only going to be of interest to those who follow these chats. If you write in to the WaPo, leave me a comment about what you are asking that isn't getting answered. |
