| Introduction | Food is my love language. I love the food and the language: cooking, feeding, eating; talking, writing, reading. I am excited to combine all these into one platform. Plus jokes. If I could incorporate “shopping at Home Goods” into my blog, it would basically cover my entire existence. In addition to cooking and frequenting Home Goods, I am a wife and a mother of three. I make no claims to amazing wifery: ups and downs, people. And I make LOTS of claims to poor mothering: I allow sugar cereal, plenty of unsupervised time, and absolutely no crafts. I have missed picture day. But my kids do eat. Everything. They eat everything we eat. I have never made them a separate “kid” meal. And they sleep in. Another story. I like to make easy family meals taste complex and develop their little foodie minds. I am just a regular old, not-a-chef mom with a hectic life who forgets her grocery list EVERY time she leaves the house. I use what I have on hand to make yummy meals for my family to enjoy. If I have done anything right, it has been to feed my family real food. I hope to open worlds of health and happy taste buds for them, and for you. I should go see where they are... |
