| Introduction | I am married with a high-school-aged daughter. Professionally, I have been a teacher, an editor, a content specialist, and a project manager. Personally, I try to do the right thing. I love the Pens, the Steelers, and Penn State, and I am a Pirates fan. I also cheer for Pitt. I love the Burgh and hope to stay here until the bitter end (which hopefully won't be bitter at all). |

| Favorite movies | Anything with John Cusack or by John Hughes. I have seen Beaches at least 30 times. |
| Favorite music | I used to love Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, the Cure, Ministry, Pearl Jam. I still like to listen to them, but just don't seek them out. I think the Clarks were my last buy, probably four or five years ago. |
| Favorite books | Jane Austin and John Grisham are my fave authors, though I rarely read anything other than magazines, newspapers, and online articles. |
