| Introduction | I began traveling more than three decades ago and my goal is to become a member of the mythical "Century Club" which is people who have been to 100 or more countries. After playing professional baseball for four years, including the longest uninterrupted professional game in history in 1966 (29-innings -- a 4-3 loss by the way), I worked in commercial television for 14-years as a sportscaster. Then wanderlust grabbed my soul and I have been traveling the world ever since as a travel writer and travel video producer. I later lived in Saudi Arabia for a year where I worked in the Public Relations department of Saudi Aramco. My travel blog is an effort to relate some of the magical adventures I have experienced during those wonderful years of travel. |
