| Introduction | I haven't surfed for weeks! How am I ever going to become a professionsl! :) Hello. I am very excited to start a new year as a 2/3 combination teacher. I have taught second grade for five years and third grade for ten years so I am looking forward to teaching both grades. On my free time I am learning to surf as I am the only member of my family that is not a surfer. Sadly, after a summer of trying, I am still not a "surfer" but I can at least stand and go! Good news! I attempted another day of surfing and I actually caught about 4 waves! I was in the water with my entire family. It was an amazing family moment. Surfing is fun but it is really cold! Hopefully before the winter rains, I will be able to spend more time on my feet than on my belly! |
