| Introduction | I hear of Her blog, His blog, Their blogs. Some are very interesting but maybe give away too much information. There are a lot of us babyboomers looking forward to the autumn years of their lives. A lot of us began working at the age of 15 - I'm a woman so finished at the age of 60 - thats 45 years (less a couple for child care). Himself started work the month before he was 15 and has to go to 65 before he can retire - 50 years!! I decided long ago that I didn't want equal rights - quite happy being superior and luckier in many ways. No children at home now and only the occasional visits from grandchildren. Bless them when we see them but its nice to know that they are not ours to keep. Money is easier too. Mortgage paid. Not so bothered about fashion so clothes are not such an expense. I've decided to go grey as nature intended so no expensive hairdresser bills. In fact, I don't mind being over 60. My life has begun again and I'm enjoying my freedom! |

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
