| Introduction | Not quite a Renaissance man but making a valiant attempt at the title I've taken a pretty good swipe at life so far. University educated but not content to be pigeonholed into one profession I have "been going there and doing that" for much of my life. My passions are rooted in the great outdoors and interacting with people. Combining the two I have been a writer, guide, and teacher. And when I have had to pay some of the bills I have been a logger, publisher, fire fighter, programmer and consultant. In my free time I'm a photographer, videographer, poet, and raconteur.
