Introduction	I am a frustrated writer trapped in the body of a person who has a fairly scientific job. As with most people I am not sure how I arrived where I am in life, but I suspect the mortgage and single parent status may have influenced my career decisions somewhat! I have a beautiful 12 year old daughter who will herein be referred to as Blondie. We live alone in a Victorian house that was once a complete wreck but I call it a 'project'. I think if I'm honest it would be more appropriate to call it 'a steep learning curve'! But nonetheless, over two years in we are on the home straight (excuse the pun). If I found myself stranded on a desert island with Blondie, the three possessions I would want to have with me would be my phone, my gigajuke and an inflatable dinghy - genius! I could continue, there is a lot more to say, but I think it would take away from the fun of getting to know me better via the blog.
