Introduction	I am a mom in the Salt Lake City area and I have one adopted child and one biological child. Coincidentally enough, I am also adopted and I have an incredible relationship with my adoptive parents and my birthparents. When I was born, all adoptions were "closed adoptions," so I didn't know my birthparents until I was a grown adult and chose to seek them out. I am passionate about adoption and believe it can be a wonderful experience. I know how overwhelming and frightening the adoption process is because I've experienced it myself. There are so many choices, so many people pulling you in different directions and so much to risk. I chose adoption consultation because I genuinely care and I want to help people build their families. I know the agencies and services in this area and how each situation varies. I wish that I could've had someone to guide me when I was adopting, that I could've had someone be a good resource for support and information who had experience and answers.
