Introduction	Some of my earliest memories revolve around the kitchen - the sights, the smells, the flavors. Every year, I looked forward to my gramma coming to vist us. We would compile a list of things we wanted her to bake and cook for us, and I would spend hours upon hours watching her tinker in the kitchen. When I was about 11 years old, my mom decided I needed to learn how to bake. So she started me with some good old fashioned white yeast bread. Thanks, Mom! I have loved baking ever since. Joy Bug Bakery specializes in made-from scratch desserts. We use only fresh in-season fruit, no mixes (as many bakeries do), and no preservatives. We peel our own apples, squeeze our own lemons, break our own eggs, and roll our own pastry.
