| Introduction | The Gay Guru was started over 3 years ago to support the GLBT community through information, commentary, humor, and a little playfulness.
In 2009, our community is on the edge of a cliff where there is danger ahead, but a lot of ground has been covered before we got here. It is time to come back out of retirement and report on these exciting times. We now have 4 states that legalize gay marriage. We have the potential of overturning 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' and a new President of these United States that does not consider us second hand citizens. The opposition party is now noisier than ever, and with the likes of Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, and our always tragic greek chorus of Religious Right leaders. It's time to take the momentum and run. Be informed, get involved and let's be counted. I am looking forward to bringing the Gay Guru back to inform, question, comment, and offer a little humor.
