| Introduction | My name is Captain Danny Wrenn and I have spent a lifetime fishing in some form or another. I grew up fishing farm ponds in the Piedmont portion of the Old North State and I think the first fish I caught was a bluegill. After many summers of chasing bream and bass I went to college (UNC-Wilmington) and found Ultimate Frisbee. I competed at two College National tournaments (2nd at both), three Open National tournaments and 2 World Club tournaments. Then I was reintroduced to fishing and flyfishing by a good friend and 1998 moved back to Wilmington. Nearly ten years of chasing red drum, flounder, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia and sharks along the Cape Fear Coast has become an obsession. Now this obsession has become my career.
