| Introduction | Born from a line of seamstresses who owned a Fabric store at one point of my unborn life. The art of clothing has always been of great interest to me. At the age of 7, I made my first sewing attempt when I borrowed my mother's sewing machine (unknowing to her) to make clothes for my dear Barbie...without any lessons on how to use a machine or needle.. or how to put a garment together!** disaster was the news of the day! well of 2 days!..maybe 3 .. cause after I broke her machine the first time.I broke it again..and again... from then on, I never touched a sewing machine until the age of 16.. 34 yrs later..., I am an accomplished Artelier who attended Ryerson University to study and breathe this very passion and worked for three well known Toronto Fashion Designers. IIUVA DESIGNS was born in 2000 in Woodbridge, ON ..where it started as a home based business. |
