| Introduction | Currently I am a Graduate Assistant at Kent State University in Curriculum & Instruction. I taught Spanish for 15 years at both the high school and collegiate levels. As foreign language teachers know, we teach grammar, vocabulary, history, reading, writing, study skills, culture and the list goes on. Consequently, at Kent State my lines of inquiry include, general literacy, English language learners, and multicultural education. During my dissertation phase I plan to focus on improving the reading comprehension skills of English language learners. |
