Introduction	I am Hanan. Born/raised in Marrakech, Morocco. I hold an honors BBA degree w/a concentration in Risk Management & Commercial Insurance. I work in the Executive Liability Underwriting field in the U.S. (NYC/Philly). I love Yoga, Tennis,Golf,Equitation, Snorkeling,Skydiving, Biking,Photography,Tango, Reading,among others. W/o the support of my parents, siblings, and genuine friends, I would not have come this far. I am so grateful to God for all that. It is hard to define me because I am constantly evolving. I guess I am simply an independent global citizen w/lots of critical thinking. My mission statement is to achieve the delicate balance between faith, career, family, personal growth, cultural values, and modernity. I tend to have deep thoughts and reflections about life, and I love exchanging perspectives. I speak 5 languages, which serve me as a passport to several cultures. I appraciate the ability to relate to the orient and the occident at the same time. I am fascinated by people and I believe everyone has a solid potential to capitalize on. Interests	Sports: Yoga, Tennis, Golf, Horseback Riding, Running, Swimming. Adventures: Hiking, skydiving, snorkeling, ... and I want to learn surfing.
Favorite movies	Impossible to list them all. I like comedy and my compatriot Gad El Maleh makes me laugh so hard (what a smart talented comedian). I enjoyed Ocean's 11-13. Latin American telenovelas are my guilty pleasure, but they helped with my Spanish :) I like independent movies and documentaries and I watch international movies as they are my eyes and ears to other cultures. I also love Disney animated movies VERY much.
Favorite music	Aside from rap, I probably like every other type of music depending on my mood. I like Brazilian bossa nova, Jazzanova, Indian flute, Nouvelle Vague, Classical (namely Vivaldi). I listen to French music quite often, the classics as well as Carla Bruni, Karimouche, etc. I like Moroccan Andalusian music. Among many many other types. But in terms of listening, while there is no way I can compare this to music, I do love listening to Quoran recitations. I like Assudaiss a lot because he gives me the impression of being in Mecca, and that is the most peaceful feeling ever.
Favorite books	Of course the Quoran comes first in the list of books. In addition to that, I like reading in Arabic French and English. Just like with films, it is impossible to list all the books that I liked. The Alchemist of Paulo Coelho comes to mind. I also loved Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud Arabic books as I am obssessed with the scientific miracles on the Quoran and I tend to meditate a lot on the universe cohesion and how science and religion come together in support of one another. There are obviously many many more books I love. I just read a lot. But I honestly don't like that much fiction. I prefer to watch fiction movies than reading the corresponding books. I am referring to Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Twilight... I loved the stories but I didn't read the books. I read a lot of business and self-improvement books as well as biographies. I am a huge fan of the Harvard Business review magazine and all of their books. I read zillions of those. Ah and does Vogue count? :) I keep an eye on fashion but I have created my own style.
