| Introduction | My love of vintage clothes began in junior high, when my best friend and I would make regular trips to The Salvation Army and raid her dad's closet for corduroy bellbottoms and plaid blazers. In college, while studying dance and choreography, I dressed my dancers in flowy 1930s cocktail dresses from Wasteland. Today, I am a mother, children's book editor, seamstress-in-training, dish washer, blocks stacker, and, of course, lover of vintage. |
