| Introduction | David Roger Walugembe is an Information Science Professional with a bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS Hons) from the East African School of Library and Information Science, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda. David has recently worked as : •Communications Public Relations Officer with Uganda Virus Research Institute- International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (UVRI-IAVI)HIV Vaccine Program. (2009-2010) •Information Scientist - Ministry of Public Service (GoU) (2005-2008) •David began his professional career with the British Council Uganda as an Information Trainee, Customer Services Assistant, Administrative Assistant with Uganda British Alumni Association and as a Literature Festival Support Officer. •He went to Bishop Ddungu Boarding Primary School, later joined St. Henry's College Kitovu (1995-2000) before joining Makerere University (2001-2004) •He served as the Vice President of Kololo Rotaract Club. He enjoys making friends, reading human development books, leadership and management related materials. David traces his humble beginnings from a remote village in Masaka District. |
