Callie says "Bald is Beautiful!!"

Introduction	We are the Allison family. We are here to help spread Alopecia Awareness. Our family consists of Mom (Laura), Dad (John), Colton (Brother), and Callie (Sister). Colton is 10 years old and Callie is 6 years old. Callie was diagnosed with Alopecia in October 2011. She had a few small patches of hair about the size of a quarter that had fallen out and was left with bald spots. By January 2012, she was almost entirely bald. She has lost her eyebrows and most of her eyelashes. This is a condition called Alopecia Universalis. Despite the shock, Callie has been a super trooper. She always smiles and faces everyday with a positive attitude. Her self-esteem is the highest it has ever been and she's found that there's more to beauty than a headful of hair. Colton is being the amazing big brother to her that he has always been, reminding her every chance that he will always have her back. Mom and Dad are just hanging in there and learning everyday that our children are the best inspiration in the world.
