Introduction CCG is a Washington, DC-based informal network of Public Affairs, Public Relations, Media and Communications professionals who meet once a month for lunch and discussion. In the age of faxes, phones and e-mail (and now blogs!), a lot of our work is done indirectly and impersonally. CCG is an informal, inexpensive and invaluable avenue to meet face-to-face. Started by Mark Oswell, CCG lunches are designed to be a helpful means to network, exchange ideas, learn more about other aspects of our field and share experiences. CCG has one lunch per month at various locations. Each lunch is planned to have guest speakers address various PA/PR subjects. If you'd like to speak or have a topic idea, please let us know. The more than 800 CCG members work for various government agencies, institutions, corporations, associations and the media. There are no annual dues, just the price of lunch, usually around $25. Mostly we meet at metro-accessible venues downtown where 30-40 of us can have a quiet area to ourselves. Currently, CCG is being run by President, Robin Ferrier and Vice President/Treasurer Joe Balintfy. Thanks for your interest and hope to see you soon!
