Introduction	I have worked as a teacher, boatbuilder, carpenter,taught boatbuilding was a registered nurse for 20 + years.Before I became a nurse I had gone to college, majoring in Philosophy and Religeous studies. I have also gone to seminary, but came to realize there are many ways to "minister" to the needs of others. My wife, who I adore, and I live in a small Texas town, attend a Spirit filled Church called "Light on a Hill" and spend time with our grandchildren (who we are very proud of) when we can. I grew up in a small town when a man's word was his bond and friends helped each other without question. My younger years read like a Tom Sawyer story. Skipping school with friends to go fishing and "skinny dipping" in the local river was a "racy" as life got. I have a very strong faith in God and Jesus and came to it by the School of Hard Knocks and hard times. I also love to build ship models and ships-in-bottles and have sold many of them. I have also done custom ships-in-bottles for folks who would send me photos of their own boats or boats they admired and I would build it for them.
