| Introduction | I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian woman, a wife of an Orthodox Deacon and a mother of three young kids plus a large dalmatian, a working mom, a home owner with an old cape-cod style house from the 1940's, and a decorative arts enthusiast. I am very interested in the issues of our world, people, animals, environment, agriculture, etc., but not in the current political structure that surrounds their debate. Frankly, I would just rather talk about the issues for their own worth than the self-serving political arguments. So I guess I'm independent, because I don't think there's a party for people who want to deal with each issue on its own merit rather than packaged together in a bill laden with other stuff that I don't agree with. |
