| Introduction | My blog name comes from a story in the original Crikey in the 2000s when I was a political adviser: http://www.crikey.com.au/2002/04/03/barns-was-sacked-but-hefferlump-can-stay-in-the-party/ I'm married with five beautiful children. Born in Perth WA, lived in Hobart most of my life. My father is Lithuanian and my Mum is from Western Australia. I have two sisters and a brother. I've always wanted to be a famous singer with a big back up band, great audiences and wall-to-wall gigs...in the meantime I love music, theatre, poetry, news, current affairs, political commentary and electoral sites of all kind. I am a committed republican and hope that Australia will one day become a republic with an Australian Citizen as its Head of State. I enjoy fishing of all kinds, playing guitar and singing, performances of all types, live entertainment, history like the Vikings, Arthurian legends, and ancient civilisations. Love watching live footy especially Essendon Football Club (the Mighty Bombers!) and the Wallabies. I love travelling with my wife; and watching my children growing up into confident, assured, participating members of society. |
