Introduction	I'm (as I write this) 22, studying economic development in university. I named my blog after the legendary Gráinne Mhaol not only because I share her name (Grace), but because like me - I hope - she was a kick-ass free spirit. Whether or not you agree with how she conducted her business, she was a woman of considerable guts in a patriarchal society that wanted to make a wallflower out of her.
Interests	I have many interests!! I am curious sort of girl, really. I love art, making beautiful things with my hands. I love science - the world around us and everything that contributes to it fascinates me. And watching rugby for the men in short shorts :-D
Favorite movies	Love Actually - it's sappy, I know, but it makes me feel all fuzzy inside... The Matrix trilogy for the superb special effects, the Lord of the Rings for the sheer scope and artistic value of all the work that went into them. The Ring for scaring the ass off myself.
Favorite music	My taste in music is very eclectic. I like a bit of everything, depending on my mood. I love old-school jazz music, as well as pop, classical, even a bit of metal... the odd time!
Favorite books	Anything I can really "lose myself" in. I adore Tolkien for the beauty of the prose he uses and the depth of his work, and also epic series like Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time". I do read non-fiction occasionally, but losing myself in epic fantasies is my preference :-)
