| Introduction | For much of the last two years I've been living in Eastern Europe investigating criminal corporate raiding, the subject of my PhD dissertation at Berkeley. I have spent several months each in Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Estonia. I am also a trader.
