| Introduction | My passion for outdoor adventure began when I was eight years old and my parents packed myself and my seven siblings into a station wagon, hitched up our pop-up tent trailer and drove us to southern California. Since then I have managed to visit 49 states and several countries. I am formerly the VP of the Minnesota Rovers, a Twin Cities-based outdoors club. I have degrees in geology and environmental studies and work for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. I have come to realize that adventures in or near our own back yard can be just as rewarding as ones in distant and exotic places. |
