| Introduction | My name is Dan Forshner. My passions in life are God, family, friends, the ocean and woodworking. Since, I was a young boy I have always used wood working as a creative outlet. I love the unique properties of wood. Each piece has its own beauty with different grain patterns and colors and I have a passion to bring them out. I have an enthusiasm for creating pieces of art and furniture that are as unique and individual as the wood itself. Growing up as a third generation carpenter I have learned to build each piece with quality and care. I have also learned how important it is to be a good steward of the earth and with that in mind I use recycled wood whenever I can. It’s amazing what you can find under an old coat of paint or varnish. My hope and dream is that each piece I make will be something that will be passed on for generations. |
