| Introduction | What about me? Just read... I like foxes. A lot. Hence the name of my blog is the Irish for "Fox". It literally means "the red dog". I like Fantasy. Not the stupid Tinker Bell garbage- I mean real as corn Fantasy. Everyday Fantasy. Old School, dark, folk, traditional fantasy. I indulge in it daily and I toy with the boundaries between Fantasy and Reality constantly. They're quite pliable and so engaging. |

| Favorite movies | Fantastic Mr. Fox!!! Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, A Midsummer Night's Dream (with Rupert Everett), Beauty and the Beast (Disney style), Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal... "Wives and Daughters" 2000 BBC starring Micheal Gambon, Keeley Hawes, Justine Waddell... And "Willow" of course with Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, and directed by Ron Howard...everything about the movie (including any campiness and mistakes!!!) is simply the BEST. "Secret of Roan Inish" erm... "Room with a View" with Julien Sands, Helena Bonham Carter, Rupert Graves, Maggie Smith, and Judi Dench... Erm... the newest Sense and Sensibility with Hattie Morahan (adapted by Andrew Davies)...pretty much all Jane Austen adapted by him actually. North and South adapted from the novel by Elizabeth Gaskell, the BBC version (2004) with Daniela Denby-Ashe, Richard Armitage, and Sinead Cusack. Babette's Feast!!!!!, The Lord of the Rings (all there, extended only), Little Women!!!!, The Wickerman (the original), Whitnail and I, Moonstruck, How to Marry a Millionaire... Jim Henson's "The Storyteller" (with John Hurt), Brendan and the Secret of Kells,Julie and Julia, Whisper of the Heart!!! |
